For our gratest pleasure on the 29th May (Tuesday) from 8:30PM Barabás Lőrinc will be playing with his almost brand new band. After living in New York City he established the Barabás Lőrinc Quartet to follow new roads of music. Most of the fans got upset hearing that Eklektric stopped and announced that it had come to somewhat an end.
"The band received the trumpet-player leader’s name and plays eclectic, urban music. It was established in 2006 in Budapest. Lőrinc (the leader) was in his early twenties when he was already taking part in lots of classic jazz and underground projects (Gimmeshot Crew, Rewind). He was motivated by both the freedom of improvisation and adrenaline boosting pop’s energy." (Juli Fábián)
In October the new band was our guest and attracted probably the utmost visitors in the autumn season. Here you find bits of that concert; their music is various – it’s worth listening to it.
